This week’s Tuesday ride will travel from La Connor Marina briefly through northern Fir Island, along both the west and east banks of the south fork of the Skagit River (crossing over at Conway), along Dike Rd. into downtown Mt. Vernon. <br /><br />From the Mt. Vernon Riverwalk we’ll take side streets to McLean Rd, and then jigjag several miles back to Chilberg Rd. and return to La Connor.<br /><br />Elevation gain is a very mild 251 feet. The route length is 27 miles.<br /><br />The Ride With GPS weblink is https://ridewithgps.com/routes/38776187. <br /><br />20-25 miles; minimal hills; easy Social Pace (12 mph avg); rides as a group ; no route maps. Newer riders and E-Bikes welcome. Rider bike skills and experience sufficient for safe riding on the road is requested. Poor weather cancels (+15mph wind/ constant Rain/ 42 degrees or colder).
