Ride, ale trail Edison, 24 mi, 798 ft
About this event
This Tuesday’s ride begins in Edison for a ride up to Alger then south, clockwise back to town. Download from this link to your device: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/49582086
The map indicates that the route begins at the north end of Edison. Let’s change that and park and meet up at the Edison Elementary School.
Terramar is a stop on the Skagit Ale Trail. Feel free to stop in after the ride and get your passport stamped while we enjoy some food and a beverage. There are other options for post ride food in Edison also. We have choices.
More can be learned about the Skagit Ale trail and you can download a passport at: https://www.skagitfarmtopint.com
As always, let’s be cautious, polite and aware as we ride. Hand signals, verbal cues and an awareness of the road are always important. Let’s not take anything for granted.
All cyclists welcome. Road skills and a helmet are required. Mirror, hi-vis and lights are great additions.
See you Tuesday? Or, before that, how about tomorrow with Steve for the Oso Memorial gravel ride?
Tuesday rides are open to anyone with sufficient skill to ride safely on public roads. Both manual and e-bikes are welcome.
Sign up for this ride online. We are required to have a Waiver of Liability for each rider on our club rides. Signing up online will bring you to the Wavier of Liability form. Follow the prompts and presto, you’re legal and we don’t get haranguing letters from our insurance provider. Win win.
If you like what you’ve experienced, please join the club to continue riding with us. At $30/yr, it’s very good value for money. Included is all the fresh air you can breathe :)
