This week’s ride will be the same as the Skagit Spring Classic 25 mile loop. There is a minor difference and that is we will start at TerraMar as opposed to the school. Otherwise, direction of travel and all turns are just like on the day of the Classic.
Speaking of the Classic, you do remember that there is a premier bike ride coming up this Saturday? A side note, this ride has rightly become know as the Cookie Ride. So, an acceptable reason for not showing up for tomorrow’s ride is that you can’t get away because you have cookies in the oven. Dozens and dozens of cookies in the oven.
Bring your cookies to the Friday night event at Bayview Elementary School. Surrender your babies (cookies) then and there. We have never yet had too many cookies.
As always, sign up for the ride on the club website, so you can fill the liability waiver. Feel free to come and ride your own ride at your own pace. Good food in TerraMar after our ride.
Sign up for this ride online. We are required to have a Waiver of Liability for each rider on our club rides. Signing up online will bring you to the Wavier of Liability form. Follow the prompts and presto, you’re legal and we don’t get haranguing letters from our insurance provider. Win win.
