ANNUAL MEMBER APPRECIATION RIDE & PICNIC Saturday, August 8 • Riverfront Park (901 River Road, Sedro‑Woolley)
Our annual celebration is just three days away, and everyone is invited. As of Wednesday, NOAA is reporting that “Mount Vernon is under an active Air Quality Alert and patchy smoke advisory until late Wednesday afternoon due to regional wildfires. Conditions are expected to improve to mostly Good to Moderate levels (AQI roughly 25–50) moving into the rest of the week as ventilation increases.” If you are sensitive to smoke or poor air quality, it is suggested that you limit outdoor activities.
Food & Drinks
- We’ll provide the BBQ, catered this year by Kelley’s BBQ from Mount Vernon. Their food is excellent.
- Please bring a dessert to share and whatever you’d like to drink.
- Tea and lemonade will be provided.
- Alcohol is not permitted.
- There is no charge for this event.
Both Moderate and Social rides start at 10:00 am.
Riders will return around 12:30 pm, when lunch begins. If you’re not riding, simply join us at 12:30 for the picnic.
We’ll also have a few yard games—rumor has it that Steve Moe is the one to beat at cornhole.
