About This Event – Music, bicycling, and a great venue. No better way to spend a summer evening. This is the fourth of six SBC Summer Concert Series Rides. Tonight’s event is really all about the music. Chris Eger & The Powerhouse Horns https://chrisegerband.com will not disappoint and if you haven’t heard them before you are in for a real treat.
The Ride - Our pre-concert ride will take us out around Marches Point, down to Similk Beach and back to Anacortes where we will do some urban exploring, 23.3 miles, 795 feet. This will be a social pace (10-13 mph) ride and just a great way to stretch those legs before relaxing to some good music, food and conversation. Logistics – Parking is available at Seafarers’ Memorial Park, 601 Seafarers Way, Anacortes, WA 98221. Look for the club flag just as you enter the concert venue. You can set your lawn chairs up prior to the start of the ride. This is a BYO picnic dinner event. There will also be some food and drink options available for purchase as well.
