SBC Member RIDER ALERT Quick Notice

ROUTE CHANGE: Edison Elem. School, 20.2 mi, 743 ft

To all that registered for the ride - the cancellation notice that you received this morning was an error. I logged on to cancel my personal registration and ended up canceling the entire event. Apologies for the error.

Hi, breaking news: the previously posted route is changed due to fish habitat restoration (go salmon). 

In place of going up to Bellingham and down Chuckanut, Let’s still meet up at Edison Elementary School and ride to Alger then down Friday Creek and back to our start.

Edison has some nice lunch spots, take your pick.

Both e-bikes and acoustic are welcome. 

Safe bike handling skills are required. 

E-bike riders can expect to ride at a pedal bike social pace of 12-14 mph. 

Faster riders feel free to pull ahead as a group. 

Let’s buddy up and/or look out for each other. 

Consider activating Location Sharing in Google Maps or Apple Maps.

· Front and rear lights 

· Flat kit with bike multi-tool

· Water and snacks

Sign up for this ride online and complete the release/waiver. 

Important Note: Please make sure you cancel your registration should you not be able to make the ride. 

Your cooperation will make record keeping for the $150 gift card promotion to a fancy restaurant much easier. 

Ask around for more details, be sure to ride a lot, most rides completed wins.
