2008 Spring Classic Wrap Up

Our 18th annual Spring Classic Ride went well this year, with just over six hundred (606) riders participating in the event. The weather held out with a little sprinkle in the morning, and dry for most of the day. Everyone seemed to have a good time enjoying the scenic routes, rest stops, and our wonderful homemade cookies. Our riders had lots of encouragement from our bike club staff and a little devil prodding them up Bow Hill road. This ride would not have been possible without our volunteers’ generosity of time, effort, and energy. They make this a fun, safe and successful event for our community to enjoy. Many thanks to all who helped – those who made cookies, ran the rest stops, and helped organize all the little details. Alger Rough Riders 4-H Club did another great job preparing and serving our riders with the pasta dinner at the end of the ride.
